The Île-des-Chênes North Stars (formerly known as the Steinbach North Stars) are a Canadian Senior ice hockey team from Ile des Chenes, Manitoba. Once members of the Hanover-Tache Hockey League in southeastern Manitoba, the North Stars now play an independent schedule under the jurisdiction of Hockey Manitoba and are former Allan Cup champions.
The Île-des-Chênes North Stars played in the 2003 Allan Cup in Dundas, Ontario and won their first and only national championship. A member of this team was former NHL player Pat Falloon.
In 2006, the North Stars briefly relocated to Brandon, Manitoba. From 2007 to 2010, the North Stars played out of Steinbach, Manitoba, where they hosted the 2009 Allan Cup. Steinbach's 2008-09 roster included former NHL players Theoren Fleury and Greg Hawgood.
In 2010, the North Stars hockey club returned to Île-des-Chênes. They attempted to qualify for the 2011 Allan Cup tournament, but lost to their local rivals, the Southeast Prairie Thunder, in the provincial playdowns.
